Bath have confirmed the appointment of Mike Prendergast as the club's new Backs and Attack Coach ahead of the 2026/27 season.
The highly-rated Irish coach will arrive at Farleigh House when pre-season begins, making the move from Munster after four years overseeing the province's attack.
Prendergast began his rugby journey as a player with Munster before enjoying spells in France with Bourgoin-Jallieu and in the Premiership with Gloucester. After retiring, he built an impressive coaching reputation across French rugby, working with Grenoble, Oyonnax, Stade Français and Racing 92.
He returned to Munster in 2022 as Attack Coach, helping shape one of the URC's most dangerous attacking sides before deciding to take on a new challenge in England.
Speaking after his appointment, Prendergast said: "I am really looking forward to joining a prestigious club like Bath and excited about getting stuck in."
Bath believe Prendergast's extensive experience and attacking expertise will strengthen Johann van Graan's coaching team as the club prepares for the new campaign.
