Wales want England match replayed after 'disgraceful' winning try allowed to stand

Similar to the previous week's match in Rome, England once again trailed at halftime, with Wales securing a penalty try and an Alex Mann score, putting them in a promising position to secure their first victory at Twickenham since 2015.

Fraser Dingwall scored in the corner to drag England to within a point before George Ford's penalty sealed victory.

Ford made amends for his failure to convert Ben Earl's first-half try.

Wales fans we're not happy with the decision to allow England's winning try.

One fan wrote: "The receiver is even in front as the pass is thrown."

England fans weren't impressed with the suggestion that the final pass was forward in the build-up. to Dingwall's score.

One fan responded: "Doesn’t mean it’s forward. Ball has forward momentum from the player moving forwards. The rule is the passing movement can’t be forwards. See attached snip from rule book."

A second said: "Flat at worst. And no way you can tell from that angle on that bad an image."

Another commented: "What is it they say about the welsh rugby team .. they never lose a game ever the opposition just score more points"

Telegraph 5/10: "The try covered a multitude of sins - from George North running straight through him, to not holding his line before passing to Daly."

Planet Rugby 6/10: "Not a huge carrying threat but a smart operator. Took his try well and is a good distributor on the gain line, although he needs to show more in the rest of the Six Nations."
