The group have banded together at the Surrey training base of Pennyhill Park, with Borthwick eager to discover who his England XV team will feature, for the uncapped match against France XV. The training group consists of players from outside of the PREM play-offs, with the stars of Northampton Saints, Bath, Leicester Tigers and Exeter Chiefs remaining at their clubs for their respective title hunts.

We kick off this 10-man list of uncapped England talents, with a young prop widely regarded to be the future of the England front row. Alongside the likes of Asher Opoku-Fordjour and Nathan Jibulu, Afo Fasogbon continues to impress in the Cherry and White of Gloucester, with three England A caps to the 21-year-old tight-head's name.

Fasogbon caught the eye of the wider rugby audience with a neat little rivalry against Ellis Genge, which saw Fasogbon out-scrummage and 'wave off' the established England loose-head in a 2025 West Country derby. The rivals renewed their competitive edge a month ago, as Fasogbon jostled against the Baby Rhino down the tunnel when Gloucester took on Bristol Bears last month. There could well be a reunion at the England camp, with Genge set to continue his injury rehabilitation down in Surrey.

Joining the fold newcomer England front row forwards is Will Hosbon, as the Harlequins man continues to enjoy a stellar run of form with the London club. It has really been the break-out year for Hobson down at the Twickenham Stoop, with the loose-head given ample opportunities to step up and impress whilst Fin Baxter has undergone a handful of stints on the injury side-lines. Another young front row who has been in the conversation for a while now regarding the future of Steve Borthwick's forward park. Nathan Jibulu rose to prominence with Harlequins, with a series of break-out p-performances in the famous quarters throughout the PREM Cup and in league action, yet it was his move up North to Sale that's really brought the 23-year-old into his element. Jibulu earned his first England A cap last Autumn against Spain, with the hooker pushing for another run in the red rose this Summer.

Next up is a versatile young back row battler, as Jack Kenningham continues to make a name for himself in the famous quarters of Harlequins. The 26-year-old has had to bide his time for an England run when compared to his younger camp-mates, and boasts a versatile ability to cover number eight and across the openside flank. Kloska has one England A cap to date, in which he took on Ireland A throughout the 2025 Six Nations window. However, it has not been a straight forward ride back to the camp for the former Hartpury and Bedford man, who continues to ply his trade and rack up the experience with Pat Lam's West Country side.

It may come as a surprise to some readers, but Hugh Tizard remains uncapped within a senior England environment. Tizard has been a Saracens mainstay for quite some years now, having formed a solid second row partnership with England captain Maro Itoje or fellow international Nick Isiekwe. The Bristol Bears man has completed his five years uninterrupted residency, having previously ran out for London Irish before being snapped out by Pat Lam's side. The online discourse is divided over van Rensburg's inclusion, with the likes of Ollie Lawrence and Max Ojomoh possibly pushed out of the fold. It's a bold call by Borthwick, with plenty of expectation upon the Bristol man to perform.
