RUMOUR | Leicester and Sale stars set to move to Bath

Bath are on the verge of completing an exciting double signing for next season, according to The Rugby Paper.

The black, blue and whites have reportedly beaten Worcester Warriors to re-signing Leicester Tigers lock Will Spencer who came through academy levels at Bath to join the first-team squad in 2014 and then had two years at Worcester Warriors before joining Leicester Tigers in 2018.

After 20 appearances in his debut season with Tigers, he ended the campaign with an appearance for an England XV against the Barbarians at Twickenham.

Bristol Bears, Northampton Saints, Newcastle Falcons and Exeter Chiefs had also been interested in the second-row, who is out of contract in the summer.

Bath are also reported to have signed Sale Sharks centre Cameroon Redpath on a three-year contract.

He can play centre, fly-half and full back, all areas the Blue, Black and Whites are likely looking to strengthen with Freddie Burns and Tom Homer both out of contract at the end of the season.

Bath are also reported to be closing in on a pair of deals to bring two key Saracens stars to The Rec ahead of next season.

The Blue, Black and Whites are reported to be leading the chase to sign England international centre Alex Lozowski and scrum half Ben Spencer.
