Burger’s Brutal Assessment

During the Autumn internationals, Springbok legend Schalk Burger delivered a damning verdict on the back-rower.

“There was a lot going on in that head,” Burger said of Pollock. “He’s a busy bloke.”

It wasn’t just about rugby.

Pollock, alongside England teammates Freddie Steward, Fin Smith and Tommy Freeman, had taken part in a TikTok dance after the All Blacks clash.

The video — posted on Freeman’s account — has since racked up more than 10.5 million views.

Burger wasn’t impressed.

“It’s a different era,” he added. “He’s a TikTok dancer or whatever he is and he plays a bit of rugby on the weekend. His main gig is to be on social media.”
