Scotland Announce Their Autumn Tests For 2018

BT Murrayfield will host three giants of the world game later this year, with Scotland playing Fiji, South Africa and Argentina in the 2018 Autumn Tests.

SCOTLAND v FIJI

BT Murrayfield

10/11 November 2018 (date/ kick-off TBC)

Gregor Townsend will kick off his second season in charge of Scotland against the thrilling Fijians, and will no doubt be eager to reverse the result the last time the two teams met, in Suva at the end of last summer’s tour, when his side narrowly lost. This is Fiji’s first appearance at BT Murrayfield since 2009 and with players such as Niko Matawalu and Leone Nakarawa such favourites in Scotland, it promises to be an exciting start to the international season.

SCOTLAND v SOUTH AFRICA

BT Murrayfield

17/18 November 2018 (date/ kick-off TBC)

The following weekend, the mighty Springboks return to Edinburgh for the first time in five years. Scotland haven’t won against South Africa since the 2010 Autumn Test but, thanks to their brilliant recent form, the team is currently higher in the world rankings (they are 5thone place above the Springboks) perhaps giving supporters a little more confidence as they head to BT Murrayfield this November that they’ll witness another famous Scotland win against the men in green and gold?

SCOTLAND v ARGENTINA

BT Murrayfield

24/25 November 2018 (date/ kick-off TBC)

Scotland have beaten Argentina all three times they’ve met since the Pumas knocked the Scots out the 2011 Rugby World Cup in Wellington. Gregor Townsend will be aiming to continue this run with a third consecutive win at BT Murrayfield after the 19-16 win in 2016 and the nine try thriller 41-31 the previous year (when brothers Ritchie and Jonny Gray made their first appearance together for Scotland and celebrated by scoring a try apiece!)
