Kyle Steyn became the first Scotland player to score four tries in a match for 26 years as Gregor Townsend's side opened their autumn series with a 10-try defeat of Tonga.
The hosts took a 14-6 lead after the opening quarter through two tries from debutant winger Rufus McLean with James Faiva slotting two penalties for the islanders.
A first half treble from Steyn and a single score from loosehead Pierre Schoeman followed, and Blair Kinghorn's three of from six conversions to made it 31-9 at the break.
Scotland's dominance continued after the break with George Turner scoring before the Tongans got themselves a try through David Lolohea.
Tries late on from replacements Nick Haining and Oli Kebble put the icing on the cake for the Scots before Steyn scored his fourth.
