#1. Ben Earl (Saracens)

Mark McCall would never consider starting Maro Itoje ahead of Ben Earl in the back-row. Starting as captain, Earl was exceptional once again this weekend, setting up the winning try as the men in black overcame Northampton Saints.
When asked about a potential England recall, he said: "I'd love to be involved if Eddie Jones wants me. I am competing with so many good players and all I can do is keep playing as well as I can and hope that opportunity comes along at some point."

Adam Radwan scored a stunning try as Gloucester suffered back-to-back defeats as strugglers Newcastle claimed a surprise 27-21 win at Kingsholm.
Radwan outpaced the home defence with an arcing run to the corner.

Somerset Live: "He is currently the best centre in the Premiership. He was making metres like they were going out of fashion as well as contributing to Tigers losing metres via his defensive efforts. A couple standout defensive moments were when he dislodged the ball out of Harry Potter’s arms on his own line and the other being him driving Potter back a good 10 metres to stunt Tigers' momentum."
