The Guinness Six Nations is over for another year, but don’t worry too much, there’s a Rugby World Cup to fill the gap between now and next years tournament.
Here, RUCK selects a team of the tournament.
Fullback: Liam Williams (Wales): Immaculate throughout the 2019 tournament, but especially against England in Cardiff.
Winger: Jonny May (England): The rapid wing scored four tries in the opening two rounds. He seems to be just getting better.
Centre: Jonathan Davies (Wales): Not the player he was during the 2017 series, but he still carried a threat and was a key part of Wales’ Grand Slam triumph.
Centre: Manu Tuilagi (England): Back to his line-breaking, destructive best after prolonged injury misery. A huge midfield presence.
Winger: Josh Adam (Wales):Scored tries in successive games against Italy, England and Scotland, and continues to make rapid strides.
