Steve Borthwick has had to make tough decisions when selecting his squad for the 2023 Guinness Six Nations. The following players have all so far missed out on the 2023 Six Nations set-up, and there are big names in this XV.

George Ford made his Sale Sharks debut last Friday in the Premiership Rugby Cup, after returning from his Achillie's injury. In his first game since the 2022 Gallagher Premiership Final for Leicester Tigers, Ford makes his way into RUCK's alternative England XV.
Ford's Sharks teammate Jonny Hill, and Harlequins winger Cadan Murley also join the side, after their recent return to their clubs, after being dropped out of the England camp.
With notable absentees from that start, and a ruthless cutting edge dropping expected starters, here is England's alternative XV, made up of players who have been dropped or overlooked for the 2023 Six Nations.
