We take a look at three incidents that were missed by match officials during the opening weekend of the 2022 summer internationals.

#1. Scott Barrett (New Zealand)

The All Blacks back-row clearly slams his shoulder near the head of Peter O'Mahony as the stand-in Ireland captain attempted to advance the ball for the visitors. Barrett does not use his arms for the tackle with the Ireland back-rowers neck buckling under the weight of the tackle. A shocker.

#2. Jonny Hill (England)

Prior to the Wallabies man being sent off, Hill clearly pushed Swain hard in the face just a couple of feet in front of the referee. It adds an extra lair to the headbutt incident as Hill was clearly in Swain's head prior to the red card.

#3. Owen Farrell (England)

An incident missed during the game saw Farrell appear to lean his shoulder into the head of the Wallabies man. The only possible mitigation would be that Farrell attempted to wrap the arm.
