1. Nico Lee - blowing his nose using a player

The Toyota Cheetahs man faced a Disciplinary Hearing today in Cardiff, Wales and has been banned for 13 weeks. With regard to the offence, the Player accepted that he had cleared the contents of his nose onto the face of an opposing player thereby committing an act of foul play.

2. Trevor Brennan - punching fan

Brennan, who has 13 caps for Ireland, was banned by rugby authorities in 2007 after he repeatedly smashed Ulster fan Patrick Bamford in the face at a match between his French club team, Toulouse, and their Northern Ireland visitors in January 2007.

3. Chris Ashton - biting

The England winger was hit with a 13-week ban after being found guilty of one of two charges of biting Northampton prop Alex Waller during a Premiership match at Allianz Park in 2016.

4. John Hopoate - inserted his finger in three players' bums

Hopoate claimed in front of the panel of judges that he was simply attempting to give all three players wedgie with his fingers, denying he had done anything wrong and that he was "a great believer in what happens on the field should stay there". However, he was found guilty of sticking his fingers up opponents' backsides.

5.Mark Meafua - punching the referee

The under-19s Maitland Blacks player was banned from playing rugby union for 10 years after attacking a referee.
