RUCK takes a look at some of the other stars who couldn't resist the lure of reality TV...

1. Gareth Thomas

In January 2012, Thomas was a housemate in the ninth series of Celebrity Big Brother, and placed third overall on the final night.
He then took part in the eighth series of ITV's Dancing on Ice in January 2013. His partner was Robin Johnstone. He was near the top of the leader board all week. In week 8, he suffered nausea and motion sickness whilst practising his "flying" routine, and was advised not to perform it and afterwards was advised to drop out of the rest of the series because of this.

2. Matt Dawson

In September 2006, he appeared in BBC One's Celebrity MasterChef programme, beating Roger Black and Hardeep Singh Kohli, to win the final.
He took part in Strictly Come Dancing in 2006, partnered by Lilia Kopylova. Although appearing initially to be an unlikely contender, he came second, only beaten in the final by cricketer Mark Ramprakash. He later returned to the show in 2008 to dance with Elaine Paige in Sport Relief does Strictly Come Dancing to raise money for Sport Relief, where they came second.
2008 saw Matt Dawson co-hosting Mitch and Matt's Big Fish, a seafood lovers tour of the British coast, in which he and Mitch Tonks tasted and cooked a variety of fish dishes using the catch of the British fishing ports.

3. Nick 'Honey Badger' Cummins

He starred in the sixth season of The Bachelor Australia in 2018 but failed to find a partner, turning down the last two girls.

4. Ben Cohen

In September 2013, Cohen took part as a contestant in the eleventh series of Strictly Come Dancing. He was partnered with Russian professional dancer Kristina Rihanoff. The couple were later eliminated from the competition, landing in eighth place. Cohen ended up leaving his wide with he and Rihanoff later having a daughter together, in early 2016.
In January 2016, Cohen took part as a contestant on the third series of The Jump, as a replacement for Mark-Francis Vandelli. He later won the series on 6 March 2016, beating Dean Cain.

5. Austin Healey

In 2008, he took part in Strictly Come Dancing, reaching the quarter-finals with dance partner Erin Boag.

6. Phil Vickery

Vickery won the 2011 series of Celebrity Masterchef beating Kirsty Wark and Nick Pickard in the final.

7. Martin Bayfield

From 23rd August 2018 Martin took part in Celebrity Masterchef of which he reached the final 3 shown on BBC one on the 28th September 2018.

8. Victor Ubogu

Come Dine with Me contestant prior to the 2015 Rugby World Cup.

9. Kyran Bracken

Bracken starred in and won ITV's celebrity ice dancing competition Dancing on Ice in 2007, with partner Melanie Lambert. In the semi-final he received the highest score in the history of Dancing on Ice at that time (29.5 out of a possible 30) matched only by rival Clare Buckfield the next week. He was then was voted into the final alongside actress Clare Buckfield and former Blue member Duncan James. Bracken also participated on Come Dine With Me.
