Wallaby scrum-half Nick Frisby will be heading to Europe after he was told he was no longer needed by the Reds.
The 25-year-old has signed a short-term contract with Top 14 side, Bordeaux Begles.
Frisby and Quade Cooper were both told they will not be part of Brad Thorn’s plans for the Reds moving forward. Frisby is still contracted with the Super Rugby franchise until the end of 2019
Frisby will be joining fellow Australians Luke Jones, Leroy Houston, Ed Fidow and Blair Connor at Bordeaux.
It is understood will return to Brisbane at the end of the Top 14 season in June to for GPS in Brisbane’s Premier Rugby competition.
