Bristol Rugby’s young fly-half Billy Searle is reportedly heading for Wasps next season.
Rugby Inside Line has reported that the 21-year-old is on his way to the Ricoh Arena after not agreeing on a new deal at Ashton Gate.
Searle would likely be joining as understudy to All Black Lima Sopoaga, who also joins Dai Young’s men in the summer.
The fly-half made 16 first team appearances during the 2016/17 Aviva Premiership campaign and has been part of Lam’s team regularly this season in the Championship.
This signing would indicate that former England number 10 Danny Cipriani has taken another step towards the exit door.
