Transfer Rumours: Jonathan Joseph linked with shock Bath exit

England centre Jonathan Joseph’s future is reportedly in doubt after Rugby Inside Line revealed he’s courting interest from Premiership rivals.

The 27-year-old, who will more than likely feature in the 2019 Rugby World Cup with England, is out of contract at the end of the 2018/19 season.

The ambitious Bristol Bears, whose head coach Pat Lam is looking towards Champions Cup rugby rather than relegation, have established the outside centre as one of their transfer targets.

Joseph will definitely miss the November matches against South Africa, New Zealand, Japan and Australia at Twickenham. His ankle injury means he’s not expected to return until Christmas.
