Transfer Rumours: South African lock on Premiership clubs radar
Gloucester are among seven clubs who have been linked with South Africa lock Franco Mostert.
The 26-year-old Springbok played under Cherry and Whites head coach Johan Ackermann at the Lions and has won 14 caps for the Springboks since making his international debut against Ireland last year.
The Rugby Paper has reported that several Premiership clubs are interested in signing Mostert once his contract runs out with the Lions and Japanese franchise the Ricoh Black Rams next year.
Champions Exeter are believed to be taking a close look at him but he is also on the radar of Gloucester, Leicester Tigers, Worcester Warriors, Bath, Sale Sharks and Championship leaders Bristol.
