Where will Danny Cipriani rank among the biggest Bath flops?

Fresh off a series of impressive performances for Fiji during the Rugby World Cup, the versatile back joined Bath ahead of the 2015/16 season.

However, he never really hit the heights expected, making just 13 appearances for Bath with his time at the Rec largely hampered by injury.

Injury and illness prevented Cipriani from featuring more in Blue, Black and White, with his performances on the pitch disappointing. He did at least make an outstanding contribution towards the development of the club’s young players behind the scenes.

The 31-times capped South African centre Robbie Fleck arrived at the Recreation Ground amidst much publicity in October 2003 just as the Rugby World Cup was reaching the finals stages.

However, despite the excitement prior to his arrival, Fleck would make just 11 starts in two seasons after breaking his leg on his debut, scoring just one try.

The Telegraph blasted his performances during the stint, saying he was 'past his sell-by date'.

The rugby league superstar was signed for Bath Rugby in England's top competition on a three-year contract, starting from October 2014.

His inclusion and performances at the Rugby World Cup were widely scrutinized, and seen by some pundits as partly to blame for England's "humiliating" early pool stage exit from the tournament—the worst result for a host nation in the tournament's history.

And following the disastrous campaign, Burgess made the decision to leave rugby union after just 12 months, opting to return to South Sydney Rabbitohs, signing a three-year contract.

Absolute flop.

A former British & Irish Lion and Welsh International, he’s won two Grand Slams (05 & 08), so Bath fans were understandably excited when he signed the blue, black and whites in 2013.

What sums up his time at the club is the fact he was knocked out by Bath teammate Carl Fearns on a night out in the city.
