Red Roses confirm new contracts as 32-player squad announced

The contracted group includes 30 Rugby World Cup winners and boasts a combined total of 1,475 international caps, underlining the depth of experience retained by England ahead of the next phase of the international calendar.

Lock Lilli Ives Campion has received her first full-time Red Roses contract, while scrum-half Flo Robinson and winger Mia Venner have also been awarded full contracts.

Emerging players Hayley Jones, Haineala Lutui, Annabel Meta and Demelza Short have each received transition contracts for the first time.

Three of the six players awarded transition deals made their Red Roses debuts during the 2026 Guinness Women’s Six Nations, as England continue to develop the next generation of international talent.

Head of Women’s Performance Charlie Hayter said: “Today's announcement recognises a group of competitive and committed players who continue to drive standards every day and represent what this team is all about, as evidenced by our achievements in the 2025/26 season.

“Competition within this squad remains incredibly fierce, and that's one of our greatest strengths. We're excited by what this group can achieve together over the coming year, and beyond, and are looking forward to continuing our work as we prepare for the next phase of the international calendar.”

The Red Roses will return to action against Australia on Saturday, September 12 at CorpAcq Stadium in Salford as part of the WXV Global Series.

England will also play two further home fixtures during September, including a major clash with New Zealand at Allianz Stadium.

Lizzie Hanlon (transition contract), Connie Powell and Ella Wyrwas have received short-term contract extensions until the end of October.
