Worcester Director of Rugby Gary Gold is fearing the worst after British & Irish Lion Ben Te’o after the centre came off injured after just 27 minutes.
Te’o, who played a starring role for Warren Gatland’s tourists in New Zealand, had been linked with a move to Bath, but nevertheless came in as a late starter at Kingston Park.
And Gold admitted after his sides 35-8 defeat against Newcastle that the injury looks pretty bad.
“It’s a major concern.” said Gold

“There is a plate in his arm and it looks like he’s damaged something around the plate,
“Obviously he will have to have a scan and we will see how it is.”
With centres Ryan Mills (hip and shoulder) and Max Stelling (ankle) also on the treatment table, it leaves the Warriors light on midfield options.
