Referee Angus Gardner baffled almost everyone when he decided to yellow card Alun Wyn Jones for absolutely no reason.

One fan wrote on Twitter: “One of the all-time awful decisions from Angus Gardner there, to overrule his own touch judge when he’s completely and utterly wrong…”

Another added: “Officials should also face the fate of being ‘dropped’ from International Rugby for poor decisions. Well done Angus Gardner, ego & pride over Technology. AWJ yellow card a joke. Way to kill a team.”
