Another Premiership club set to install an artificial pitch

Gloucester looks set to join the growing number of Aviva Premiership clubs who are playing on an artificial pitch from the start of next season.

Neil Fissler in The Rugby Paper reported today that the Cherry and Whites are likely to rip up the current Kingsholm surface next summer.

Following floods earlier this summer, the club came under fire on social media during their opening day win against Exeter on Friday night for the state of the pitch.

Saracens, Worcester, and Newcastle currently have artificial pitches.
