Eddie Jones has hit back at Australia scrum-half Nic White after he called out Ellis Genge and the entire England team for being ‘niggly’ during their 2022 series.
Yesterday, the England head coach took issue with Wallaby White, who he ranks among the gobbiest of scrum-halves.
“I hardly think he’s entitled to make that comment,” Jones said.
“He’s the biggest niggler of all time, isn’t he? That does make me laugh; the boy who niggles everyone, complaining about niggle.
“That’s a bit like the pot calling the kettle black. Obviously he thinks that and his perception is reality, so he’s got a funny way of looking at reality.
“He’s just trying to look for something, isn’t he?”

“You’re f**ked mate” – Four times Eddie Jones lost his s**t with England players
Eddie Jones is notorious for his wicked temper and dressing room outbursts during his time as England boss.
#1. Dylan Hartley
A knee injury prevented Hartley from travelling to Japan for the 2019 World Cup and effectively ended his England career.
The phone call he received from Eddie Jones was brutal, Hartley revealed.
“You’re f***ed mate,” Jones told Hartley, despite the hooker’s plea for a chance to prove his fitness.
“Even by the standards of the 6am texts he delivers while running on the treadmill, which make the recipient’s balls tighten and the brain melt, this phone call was brutal,” writes Hartley in his book.
“He was effectively ending my England career with three words.”
