Saracens bounced back from last week’s loss at Harlequins to comfortably beat Bristol 39-0 with a try bonus-point at Ashton Gate on Friday.
The reigning Aviva Premiership champions held a narrow 10-0 lead at the break courtesy of Alex Lozowski’s try and the boot of Ben Spencer, who slotted a conversion and a penalty. Bristol, despite not having anything to show had their moments and were still in the game.
Lozowski then added a second after the restart before Chris Wyles and Jamie George made sure of a bonus point with two more for Mark McCall’s side.
England second row George Kruis added a fifth score before full-time on his return to action.
