England’s Chris Robshaw set for shoulder scan

  • Chris Robshaw will have a scan on a shoulder injury on Tuesday
  • The flanker suffered the injury while playing for Quins against Worcester
  • Robshaw is now a doubt for England’s  Six Nations opener against France
England and Harlequins will be sweating over the results of Chris Robshaw’s scan on an injured shoulder, which will take place on Tuesday.

Robshaw suffered the injury while playing for Quins against Worcester and was unable to take part in England’s training camp in Brighton.

He’s joined the squad today but will have a scan to assess how severe the problem is, making him a doubt for their Six Nations opener.

“Chris Robshaw will go for a scan tomorrow to determine the extent of a shoulder injury sustained while playing for Harlequins against Worcester Warriors on New Year’s Day,” read a short Rugby Football Union (RFU) statement.

England kick-off their Six Nations defence against France at Twickenham on Saturday, February 4.
