With Mike Brown celebrating his 31st birthday today, we thought it timely to share with you five not so well know facts about England’s superstar fullback.
1) Brown started playing rugby at the age of eight when he joined his local Rugby club’s U8 team in Salisbury.
2) He is an Ambassador for GB Wheelchair Rugby.
3) The England man is a Manchester United supporter and titles David Beckham as his sporting hero.
4) The fullback has made over 200 appearances for Quins, scoring 79 tries
5) During the 2010/11 season Mike helped his club side Harlequins beat Stade Francais 19-18 in the Amlin Challenge Cup final and was voted the clubs’ Players Player of the season.
