“End of an era” – Steve Borthwick set to drop FIVE aging stars after 2024 Six Nations

#5. Dan Cole

Dan Cole, born in 1987, is a seasoned prop forward with a formidable presence in England’s front row. Known for his scrummaging prowess and strong work ethic, Cole is a cornerstone of the national team’s pack.

He has amassed numerous caps for his country and played a pivotal role in England’s 2016 Grand Slam and 2020 Six Nations victories. His experience and technical proficiency in the scrum made him an invaluable asset to the squad.

The aging prop himself has admitted he’s on the final straight of his legendary career, however, he may continue playing for England to summer due to a lack of quality replacement.
