9 Ben Youngs: His ditrubution was quick and effective and his box-kicking was pin point. His best England performance for a while! 8

8 Billy Vunipola: Was never afraid to take the ball into contact and get England over the gain line. It was great to see him back! 7.5

7 Tom Curry: A stupid yellow card early on didn’t prove too costly. He then focussed and put in an excellent performance, making 11 tackles. 7

6 Mark Wilson: Heroic. Amazing linespeed, lots of tackles (20), and inttelegient rugby. Didn’t look out of place up against Ireland’s ‘world-class’ back-row. 8
