English wing Anthony Watson, aged 29, has inked a fresh deal with Leicester Tigers.
Watson, who was sidelined during the Rugby Union World Cup due to a calf injury, was part of the Tigers squad in the previous season.
It seemed he had departed when his previous contract expired earlier this summer, but he’s now committed to a new contract set to commence in December.
“I’m really happy to get the deal over the line and restart my journey with Tigers. I really enjoyed being part of the Tigers last year. The squad, staff and fans were class,” said Watson.
“Ultimately, I came to join a great squad and win things and my goal hasn’t changed.”
