Shaw left Wasps as a club legend after making over 300 appearances for the club to round out his career with Toulon, and was there for two seasons. Currently a shareholder and consultant for London-based hospitality company M Restaurants.

The second-row’s 11-year career with Leicester Tigers came to an end after he was not offered a new deal with the club, despite winning six Premiership titles and two European Cups .He has since worked as a commentator for ESPN, ITV and BT Sport.
