Every countries best and worst player in round 2 of the Six Nations

IRELAND:

BEST: Josh van der Flier

The 42 7/10: “A big defensive effort and while most attempts to carry led him into brick walls, he never gave up the fight. Had the power to muscle over for a crucial try shortly after half time.:

WORST: Garry Ringrose

Joe 5/10: “Wandered into midfield without any real intent and failed to make a tackle, in the lead-up to Dupont’s try. Got little change in midfield.”

FRANCE

BEST: Antoine Dupont

Rugby Pass 9/10: “Always a threat from the base and showed some sublime touches in addition to managing the game to good effect and taking very few wrong options.”

WORST: Anthony Jelonch

Rugby Pass 6/10: “Lost his support to give Ireland the penalty from which Josh van der Flier claimed his countryโ€™s second try then almost immediately pinged at the breakdown to give Ireland the field position from which Jamison Gibson-Park grabbed the visitorsโ€™ third touchdown.”
