Exiled England star George Kruis set for Premiership return

Exied England and Lions lock George Kruis has revealed he will likely be BACK in the Premiership next season following his stint in Japan.

The 31-year-old, who won 45 England caps between 2014 and 2020, has been linked with Leicester Tiger and a return to Saracens in recent months.

“I have one more year on my contract in Japan then my options are open,” he revealed to Rugby Pass.

“I could stay over there, look to head back to the Premiership and play or develop my business interests.

“At the moment I think the most likely scenario is heading back to the UK in May 2022.

“I have already had interest from some clubs but it is important to me to find the right club where I want to be,

“Coming back to play for a club like Sarries would obviously be of interest.”

Owens said: “Oh god yes, Biggar can be a tricky customer on the field.

“He’s so focused and so passionate about what he’s doing no matter the game or occasion, we’ve had a few run ins on the pitch down the years.
