Four players Eddie Jones should take a look at after this weekend

Despite Eddie Jones resistance to picking in-form Gallagher Premiership stars, here are four players who impressed over the weekend for their respective clubs this weekend...

Devon Live: "A relentless display. He would have been disappointed with the missed tackle on McGuigan which led to Newcastle’s second try. However, bar that one blemish he was excellent. In total he carried 13 times as well as making 10 tackles and worked tirelessly throughout.

"Dominated at scrum time earning four penalties including the one which allowed Simmonds to kick the winning penalty, which was even more impressive after he had to come back on to the pitch for the injured Ben Moon who went off for a HIA."

Leicestershire Live: "Was instrumental in attack and defence. Created two try-scoring opportunities in the first half when he linked well with Porter outside him by drawing in the Bath defence. As always was the face of the Tigers kick-chase which more than once led to knock-on. How far can he be from Eddie Jones’ thoughts?"

Coventry Live: " All the focus was on big brother Jack, but Tom is used to that. In a losing cause and on his return from five weeks out with concussion, he made 102 metres from 21 carries, beat 11 defenders, scored an 18th try in his 53rd appearance and was Wasps’ joint top tackler. He was a colossus in defeat."

Bristol Live: "Showed off his trademark mammoth strength with a thunderous carry that saw him overcome three tacklers as he touched down for his side’s second of the game, with his frontrow teammate Yann Thomas latching onto his hip to provide some extra power."
