Facundo Gigena has left the United Kingdom on a temporary basis, due to the conclusion of the Argentine’s working visa.
The Argentina international remains a member of the Tigers 2019/20 squad and is expected to re-join his Leicester team mates in the East Midlands after obtaining a new visa.
During this period, Gigena will be unavailable for selection.

Speaking about the temporary loss of the 25-year-old, Tigers head coach Geordan Murphy said: “The timing is not ideal, with Ellis [Genge] away with England during their Six Nations campaign.”
“However, we are fortunate to have the experience of Greg Bateman and a versatile, international option in Nephi Leatigaga available in the loose-head position, as well as some exciting, young talent in the No.1 shirt coming through the ranks.

“James Whitcombe is currently in camp with England Under-20s, while Keston Lines has shown strong improvement in the development squad and Owen Hills is on his way back from injury.
