LIONS INJURY UPDATE: All the latest news on British & Irish Lions players injured over the weekend with two players already ruled out.

LUKE COWAN-DICKIE

Around the hour mark in a dramatic Gallagher Premiership final between Harlequins and Exeter, the hooker took a significant blow to the head during a tackle.

He appeared to be knocked out on the Twickenham turf and there was significant concern shown for his well-being by medics as the game was halted for several minutes.

The injury is likely to leave him unavailable for at least the first game of the Lions tour against the Emirates Lions next Saturday.

Cowan-Dickie will also have to go through the stringent return to play protocols and will not be able to progress to full training until he passes a series of tests.
