2. Richard Wigglesworth (Sale Sharks)
A deal to take the veteran scrum-half back to Sale Sharks as a player-coach was cancelled back in July, with the playmaker instead penning an extension to stay at Allianz Park until the end of the 2019/20 season. Despite interest from Ealing Trailfinders and Newcastle Falcons, the AJ Bell Stadium continues to be th 37-year-old’s most likely destination.
Wigglesworth has appeared over 200 times for Saracens and in 2018/19 broke former captain Steve Borthwick’s record as the all-time Premiership appearance holder. Internationally, the Lancastrian has appeared in two World Cups with England and has 31 caps.
