The 27-year-old recently inked a three-year contract with Stade Francais. Despite showcasing remarkable performances in recent months, earning him a consistent spot under Steve Borthwick, Marchant will be unable to participate in the upcoming Six Nations next year.
Unless there are rule modifications, his return to the England lineup is improbable until the autumn of 2026 at the earliest.
