Now England are out of the RWC, these are the teams you should root for

After England crashed out of the Rugby World Cup on Saturday night, Red Rose fans have been in a bit of a daze knowing that the dream of winning the Webb Ellis trophy on home soil is out of the question.

English fans are slowly coming to terms with the fact that there’s a considerable amount of Rugby left to play and are now looking for a new team to follow. So, we came up with a list of teams that you can pledge your allegiance to.

New Zealand
Let’s be honest, you can save yourself hours of heartache by jumping on the All Blacks bandwagon.
New Zealand are the best team in the world, and the majority of the Rugby world expect the All-Blacks to retain their crown come October 31st.
By supporting the Kiwis, it also means that you’ll get to watch their spine-tingling Haka before the team even start playing their scintillating brand of Rugby.

Argentina
We all love an underdog, and Argentina are definitely considered underdogs in this year’s tournament.
However, there is cause for hope as earlier this year they managed to beat South Africa to finish third in the Rugby Championship, and they also came third in the 2007 World Cup.

Wales
Granted, they beat the mighty England with an injury-stricken squad and played a vital role in our early exit. But wouldn’t it be nice for a home nation to lift the trophy?
One reason fans should support our Welsh neighbours is the fact that the Wales squad is littered with talented players that earn their trade in the Aviva Premiership. So if you’re a domestic Rugby fan, you should consider pledging your allegiance here.

Australia
Yes, they knocked us out of the Rugby World Cup. And yes, they’re one of England’s fiercest rivals. However, every time we think of Australian Rugby, all we can picture is Jonny Wilkinson’s drop kick in 2003… Great memories.
We wouldn’t feel too bad if the Aussies went all the way and at least England would be able to say they lost to the champions.

We want to hear who you are supporting, in the comments section below.
