Popular fly-half Andy Goode could play again – here’s how

Popular former Leicester, Saracens, Wasps, Worcester and Newcastle fly-half Andy Goode could be making a return to the pitch after he threw down a challenge to his twitter followers.

London Cornish RFC have persuaded the former England international, who won 17 caps for his country, to play again if they can raise £10,000 for the Matt Hampson foundation.

They’ve already raised over £2,500 towards the goal, which if met would see Goode come out of retirement for the second time.

A group of the club’s “Dukes” have decided to undertake the 84 mile long ‘Hadrian’s Wall Path’, walking from one side of the country to the other, to raise funds for the Matt Hampson Foundation.

They’re going to do it in just three days, covering more than a marathon distance every day across the Pennines…. ouch!
