With the new Gallagher PREM season just around the corner, attention turns to the grounds that will host another year of top-flight rugby.
We have ranked all 10 Gallagher PREM stadiums ahead of the new season, taking into account atmosphere, facilities, location, history and the overall experience for supporters.
10 CorpAcq Stadium
There is very little soul at Sale Sharks' home ground. Set next to a motorway in what feels like an isolated area, it can be hard to reach and often lacks much atmosphere on matchday.
Depending on the weather and wind, fans and members of the media have often commented on an unpleasant sewage smell around the stadium.
There has been talk of Sale moving to Altrincham, which could see them rise up this list. It also does not help that Sale do not own their current home.
9 StoneX Stadium
Saracens' StoneX Stadium has been criticised for its multi-purpose design, with an athletics track separating the fans from the pitch. This can take away from the atmosphere during matches.
Its suburban North London location also offers little around the ground, while getting there can be a frustrating journey from the nearest stations.
The artificial pitch has also faced criticism from players, while fans can be left waiting in long queues around the concourses during busy matches.
There are also limited covered and warm areas for supporters during cold winter fixtures.
8 Kingston Park
Kingston Park could be in line for some upgrades in the near future following Newcastle Red Bulls' change in ownership.
It is a compact ground and can be a tough place to visit during the winter months, especially when the weather turns against you.
However, its low position is mainly down to its size and a lack of character compared with some of the other grounds on this list.
7 The Rec
There are plenty of positives to Bath's famous home. The Rec is right in the heart of the city and sits in a beautiful area, with plenty of character and some excellent views.
However, decades of legal and planning battles have left the club with outdated and temporary facilities that can frustrate supporters.
That is set to change, with the club confirming plans for a major redevelopment starting next year.
The high ticket prices also count against The Rec, keeping it outside the top six.
6 Sandy Park
Sandy Park ranks highly for atmosphere, but there are still a few issues that stop it from climbing further.
Some fans have complained about obstructed views caused by support pillars, while older sections such as the South Stand can have low roofs and limited legroom.
Getting to the stadium can also be frustrating, with no public on-site parking available. Fans often have to rely on off-site shuttle buses instead.
The 15,600-capacity ground can also suffer from heavy traffic and long delays after matches.
Its location next to the motorway is probably the biggest drawback, but Sandy Park remains a very good rugby venue.
5 The Stoop
The top five features some genuinely excellent rugby stadiums, starting with Harlequins' famous home.
The Stoop is a traditional rugby ground with a tight layout that puts supporters close to the action.
It also has a strong community feel and offers a family-friendly matchday experience. That creates a very different atmosphere to the huge Allianz Stadium just across the road.
For fans looking for a classic rugby ground, The Stoop remains one of the best in the league.
4 Ashton Gate
Ashton Gate is one of the UK's leading modern sports venues and offers an impressive matchday experience for home and away fans.
The 26,462-capacity stadium is modern, fully seated and built to host major events. It is also home to Bristol City alongside Bristol Bears.
The stadium has also gained international recognition, recently serving as one of the host venues for the Women's Rugby World Cup.
It may not have the history of some of the other grounds on this list, but its facilities and scale make it one of the standout venues in PREM Rugby.
3 Franklin's Gardens
Cinch Stadium at Franklin's Gardens stands out because it offers a true rugby experience.
The purpose-built stadium has stands that sit close to the pitch, creating an intimate and lively atmosphere on matchday.
Its 15,249 seats also offer strong views, with very few areas where supporters are left with restricted sightlines.
Franklin's Gardens has been the home of Northampton Saints since 1888, giving the stadium a huge amount of history.
It combines that heritage with a modern matchday experience, making it one of the best grounds in English rugby.
2 Kingsholm
Kingsholm is one of the most authentic and atmospheric rugby grounds in the UK.
The home of Gloucester has a capacity of 16,115, with The Shed standing out as the heart of the stadium. Its famous terrace is known for its passionate supporters and close-to-the-pitch atmosphere.
Gloucester is one of the English cities where rugby feels like a major part of everyday life, and that is clear when you visit Kingsholm.
It is one of the best away days in PREM Rugby and a stadium every rugby fan should experience.
1 Welford Road
Mattioli Woods Welford Road tops the list thanks to its history, design and atmosphere.
Leicester Tigers' home is a huge purpose-built rugby stadium, with steep stands that sit close to the pitch and create an intimidating environment.
When the ground is full, the noise from more than 26,000 passionate supporters can be deafening.
The mix of history, traditional terrace culture and a lively city-centre setting gives Welford Road something that few other stadiums can match.
For atmosphere, heritage and the overall matchday experience, it stands out as one of the defining rugby grounds in England.
