REVEALED: Sean Lamont dyes hair after fans raise money for charity

One of Scottish Rugby’s most capped and beloved players, Sean Lamont, is retiring from professional rugby at the end of the season.

He will bow out of the sport having achieved a great number of feats for Scotland, including lifting the Calcutta Cup, playing for Scotland 105 times and representing Scotland at the Commonwealth Games (twice).

A petition was started earlier this month to try and get him to resurrect his old look of blonde hair and orange gloves.

Today it happened!

The legendary winger replied to the petition earlier this month, setting a target for donations of £5000.

With the current total standing at £7200, Lamont is keeping the results of his new hairstyle under wraps for his big final game for the Glasgow.
