British & Irish Lions scrum-half Rhys Webb has revealed he’s in negotiations with the Welsh Rugby Union and the Ospreys over a new contract.
Speaking for the first time about the speculation, Webb said: “It’s a different club every day in the paper.
“I’m working closely with the WRU at the moment so, hopefully, we can get things sorted.”
Asked by Sky Sports if that was by remaining in Wales and with the Ospreys, Webb replied: “Yes.”
The 28-year-old’s agent Derwyn Jones added: “His sole focus is to play as well as he can for the Ospreys and, if selected, for Wales in the coming months.”
