"16 Players Leave" Cardiff Face Mass Exodus At End of Season Including Seven Wales Stars

Cardiff are facing a mass player exodus come the end of the United Rugby Championship season, with 16 confirmed departures set to leave Cardiff Arms Park.
Amongst the leavers are seven Wales internationals, including former Bath star Rhys Priestland, Cardiff legend Lloyd Williams and injury side-lined Willis Halaholo. Additional Welsh internationals Kristian Dacey and Josh Navidi are set to retire due to unfortunate injuries.
The departure of club legend Llyod Williams comes as a significant blow to Cardiff. The 33-year-old leaves after 42 tries in 260 appearances and heads to Ealing Trailfinders in the RFU Championship.
The massive departure list comes in no end to the ongoing contract negotiation saga, between the WRU and the Welsh provincial clubs. Established Welsh players are exploring their options elsewhere, rugby in Wales continues to struggle amidst the contract disputes.
