"Red Roses Wall" England Women's Players Are Written Into Twickenham Stadium History

The England Women's players have been etched into the walls of Twickenham history, with the first ever Red Roses honours board. The wall celebrate the 248 women who have laced up their boots for England, and stands proudly in the corridors of the Home of English rugby.

The honours board lists the efforts of the legendary Red Roses players, with leading record holders all acknowledged on the wall. The highest capped ever England player Sarah Hunter witnessed the grand unveiling of the wall, and is duly recognised as the 137th Red Roses player.

This recognises another landmark event, in the history of the Red Roses. This weekend is set to be one for the record books, as over 50,000 tickets have already been sold for England's 2023 Women's Six Nations finale against France. This smashes the current attendance record for a Women's rugby match, which was set at last year's Rugby World Cup Final.

In what will also mark the final match as Head Coach for Simon Middleton, the Red Roses are hoping to claim their fifth consecutive Women's Six Nations title, and end 'Midds' run as Head Coach with a historic Grand Slam.
