5 rugby players you didn’t know played for these Premiership clubs

We’ve decided to take a look at 5 players, who you probably would have forgotten played for these Premiership clubs or academies…

He played for Horsham and also represented Barns Green before joining the Harlequins Academy age 15. After Harlequins failed to offer him a professional contract aged 18, he left the club and joined National League 2 South side Worthing for the 2009–10 season.

The Manchester-born flanker moved to Oakham in Rutland and was at the Leicester Tigers Academy until his late teens. Following his release, he moved to Scotland where he would then play for Edinburgh and subsequently Scotland.

The hooker also made three appearances for Leicester Tigers during the 1991/92 season in England. He'd return to England 15 years later, coaching Saracens between 2007 and 2009 before taking over the national team in 2015.

All-rounder Goode appeared at the national schools athletics finals, played county tennis and was part of the Ipswich Town football academy before joining Saracens. He also had a stint at Bath as a youngster, but wasn't offered a contract

At the age of just 17, Underhill made his debut for Gloucester in the Anglo-Welsh Cup, before making his Premiership debut at the age of 18. He'd only make two appearances before being released, with the flanker subsequently joining Ospreys. He then joined Bath, and has become a regular under Eddie Jones.
