Antoine Dupont has shown off a striking new look after reportedly adding 5kg of muscle during the summer.
The France and Toulouse star has had time away from the pitch after another long season.
But he has clearly kept working.
New pictures show Dupont looking bigger as he gets ready for the new campaign.
The scrum-half is already one of the strongest players in world rugby, despite standing at 5ft 9in. France will hope the extra work gives their star man another edge in the year ahead.
Dupont will soon turn his focus back to Toulouse and the France set-up, where he remains one of the game’s biggest names.

Five quirky Antoine Dupont facts

He grew up on a farm

Dupont was raised in the tiny village of Castelnau-Magnoac in the French Pyrenees, where his family ran a farm. He still returns home to switch off from rugby’s spotlight. He has previously shown fans around the family farm.

He started rugby at four

The superstar scrum-half first picked up a rugby ball aged just four at local side Magnoac FC, long before becoming the player now leading France rugby news.

He has a Master’s degree

Dupont balanced elite rugby with university, graduating with a Master’s degree in sports management from Toulouse School of Management.

Cycling and fishing help him switch off

Away from the pitch, Dupont is a keen cyclist and fisherman — a world away from the high-speed chaos he creates in the biggest Tests. Rugby World has previously profiled his life away from the game.

He helped France win Olympic gold

Dupont swapped XVs for Sevens in 2024 and finished the summer as an Olympic champion. He scored twice and set up another in France’s 28-7 final win over Fiji in Paris — one of the most memorable moments in rugby Sevens history.
