Bath Rugby have shocked fans with unprecedented midseason signings of three players all on the road to recovery from injuries!
The trio will complete their rehabilitation at Farleigh House and have all signed deals with Johann van Graan’s side.
Regan Grace
Grace, the ex-rugby league sensation, has been undergoing Achilles rehabilitation with Bath for a significant portion of the season.
He moved to the city following his release from Racing 92, where he hadn't played due to an injury sustained prior to his arrival in Paris. Now, the 27-year-old former St Helens winger has formally linked up with the Farleigh House team on a temporary contract to further his recovery.
The speedster is aiming to make a comeback for Bath's upcoming friendlies against Gloucester Rugby and Leinster Rugby in March.
Jacques du Plessis
After reports surfaced from South Africa earlier this week, Bath Rugby has verified that the injured lock from the Blue Bulls has indeed joined the club to advance his rehabilitation.
He has been troubled by hamstring and knee injuries over the past few years. This versatile forward has accumulated over 100 appearances for Montpellier in the Top 14 and 37 appearances for the Bulls.
If du Plessis achieves full fitness, Bath Rugby and the Bulls have tentatively agreed on a deal to keep him at the club until the end of the current season. His current contract with the Pretoria side is scheduled to end in June.
Neil le Roux
Bath have also picked up former South Africa U20s scrum-half who has also linked up with Bath Rugby to complete his rehabilitation at Farleigh House under the supervision of head of medical services Rory Murray.
