Bath booked their spot in back-to-back finals with a stirring 34-20 comeback win over Bristol Bears, edging their West Country rivals in a bruising encounter. Johann van Graan’s side, who topped the regular-season table, are now just one game away from ending a 29-year title drought—their last Premiership crown coming way back in 1996.

After falling at the final hurdle to Northampton Saints last season, Bath will be eager to make amends and bring silverware back to the Rec.

Awaiting them in the final are Leicester Tigers, who edged past Sale Sharks 21-16 in a tense affair at Mattioli Woods Welford Road. Under Michael Cheika’s leadership, the Tigers are eyeing a record-extending 12th Premiership title, and their first since 2022.

3. Finn Russell (Bath) was flawless from the tee, contributing a weekend-high 14 points and assisting two tries. He has now nailed 13 consecutive kicks across all competitions.

4. Olly Cracknell (Leicester Tigers) led the playoffs in carries (22), beat five defenders, made a dominant tackle, and snatched a turnover.

5. Kalaveti Ravouvou (Bristol Bears) topped the metres made with 181, the third-most in a single match this season. He also beat 12 defenders and made four clean breaks.

6. Despite the loss, Bristol Bears set a record with 22 clean breaks—more than any team in a playoff match on record.

7. Alfie Barbeary (Bath), in just 40 minutes, made two clean breaks and earned two turnovers.

8. Tom Dunn and Guy Pepper (both Bath) each recorded 21 tackles, the highest across the weekend. Pepper also claimed a turnover.

9. Tom Roebuck (Sale Sharks) stood out defensively, securing three turnovers in three different ways: via tackle into touch, a jackal, and in a maul.

10. Ben Spencer (Bath) controlled territory superbly with 14 kicks in play and 433 kick metres - both playoff highs. Impressively, four of his kicks were retained.
