England opened their autumn Tests campaign with a workmanlike win over Argentina in an uninspiring match at Twickenham.
Tries from Powerhouse Nathan Hughes and speedster Semesa Rokoduguni was enough for Eddie Jones' men to win comfortably despite a less than convincing display.
The Red Rose did not come out of the encounter undamaged, however, with Mike Brown forced off early after falling awkwardly on his neck following a mid-air clash with Joaquin Tuculet.
Argentina could have made the afternoon a lot more difficult for England if their kickers were in order as Emiliano Boffelli (1), Nicolas Sanchez (1) and Juan Hernandez (2) all missed penalties while Sanchez's late try went unconverted.
