Fullback: Mike Brown - 6/10
Started the game well, however, his afternoon was cut short after landing on his neck.
Wing: Anthony Watson - 6.5/10
Moved to full back after Brown’s injury and instantly saw more of the ball – making two good line-breaks.
Centre: Jonathan Joseph - 5/10
Hardly noticed he was playing.
Centre: Henry Slade - 5.5/10
Looked much more comfortable at 13 in the closing stages, but failed to impress at 12. He had one great opportunity to set up Nathan Hughes in the second half, but threw the ball into touch. He was fortunate to get away with a suspect forward pass for Semesa Rokoduguni's try but it goes down as an assist.
Wing: Elliot Daly - 6.5/10
Spent the afternoon looking for work and was happy to do so coming in off the left wing. Never made the impact he wanted though.
Fly-half: George Ford - 6.5/10
Mixed results from the tee. Provided a glorious long miss-pass to set up Hughes’ opener for England.
Scrum-half: Ben Youngs - 6.5/10
Tried to get his backs on the front foot with quick ball but it was a game suited for the forwards.
Prop: Mako Vunipola - 8/10
Carried well and alongside Hughes was England’s main driving force when going through the forwards. Was the official man of the match.
Hooker: Dylan Hartley - 6.5/10
Gave away early penalty for not rolling away but then grew into the match.
Prop: Dan Cole - 6.5/10
His usual abrasive self but was outshone by his team-mate Vunipola in the front row.
Lock: Courtney Lawes - 6.5/10
Has had better games wearing the Red Rose but was always at the breakdown and consistent in the lineout.
Lock: George kruis - 6/10
Struggled to get going and will be battling to keep his place with the imminent return of a rested Maro Itoje next week though.
Flanker: Chris Robshaw - 6/10
Wasn’t the Quins flankers finest display in the No 6 shirt but was industrious as ever and was a menace at the breakdown.
Flanker: Sam Underhill - 8.5/10
Snapped at the heels of the Argentina ankles on his Twickenham debut, chopping down everything with a number of strong tackles. Veyr impressive.
Number 8: Nathan Hughes - 8.5/10
Impressed in the absence of the injured Billy Vunipola, exemplified by his superb first half try.
